Depending on your first degree and experience, you may be able to apply for a housing job straight away.

Postgraduate courses
If you’re interested in taking your studies further, both the University of Stirling and the University of Glasgow offer postgraduate housing studies courses.
University of Stirling

The MSc/PgDip Housing Studies (with internship) course is available full-time or part-time and is delivered through blended learning. The course includes a structured, assessed work experience internship, spanning 50 days over the academic year, which sets up graduates for a ‘fast track’ into a career with housing organisations in the social, voluntary and private sectors. The Diploma internship can form the output necessary to achieve a Masters qualification.

Aimed at those already working in the housing sector, the Housing Studies (part-time) course is delivered through blended learning. The course covers all aspects of housing services and aims to help students develop the skill set required to further their careers.
University of Glasgow

This programme is suitable for: those working in housing (part-time or full-time) who wish to develop their career; those new to the sector who wish to enhance their skill set; and those interested in developing their knowledge of applied public policy who are interested in further study by research.
Teaching is delivered face-to-face but makes use of blended learning technologies. The Postgraduate Diploma can be studied part-time over 19 months. On successful completion of the Diploma and a research methods course, students can transfer to the MSc and complete a dissertation over a further five months. The MSc can be studied on a full-time basis over 12 months or a part-time basis over 24 months.
After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Stirling, Ryan Barclay decided to stay on and study towards a Masters in Housing Studies.
